# Why we built LOCKR
You've just checked out, your flight isn't until tonight, and you're dragging a suitcase through a city you came to enjoy. The usual fix — a stranger's back room with a handwritten ticket and zero accountability — always felt weird to us. You'll happily hand your bag over, but to whom, and what happens if it's gone when you get back?

## The trust gap nobody fixes

That gap is the whole reason LOCKR exists. Most luggage apps are just a pin on a map: they list whoever signs up and hope for the best. Storing your bag is a moment of trust — and trust has to be earned, not listed.

## Hand-picked, inspected, audited

So we built a network of hand-picked Thai partners — real shops, cafés, and hotels near the places you actually go: BTS stations, landmarks, your next hotel. Every one is inspected in person and audited monthly before it earns a spot, and any partner that slips loses it.

## We put our own money behind it

Then we did the thing nobody else does: we put our own money behind it. Every booking is protected up to ฿350,000, backed by LOCKR — not a third-party policy you have to buy. One all-in price in Baht, from ฿110/day, PromptPay or card, no accounts, no surprises.
